5 Matches To Look Out For This Weekend

Five shows this weekend, so that gives us an excuse to pick a match from each show that are sure to be show stealers among the stacked line ups.

5. Nursery Krymes – Reckless Intent Nothing’s Gonna Stop Us Now

The saga of Rob Mills vs Jam O’Malley rages on and now the battle over the Hardcore Championship takes a step to the next level. For those unaware on how Nursery Krymes works, basically any children’s toy is legal. The crowd is encouraged to bring along any toy that could possibly be used.

4. Fight Club Open Challenge – PWE Are You Ready?

With several teases as to who will accept the open challenge, it looks like a certain scoop slamming, mallet waving, 442 masters are coming to PWE. A show that is stacked to the gills with hugley anticipated match ups including Grado vs Noam Dar, Wolfgang and Stevie Xavier vs The New Age Kliq and Joe Hendry vs Kenny Williams there are plenty Match of the Night contenders.

3. BT Gunn vs CS Rose – GPWA A Night At The Asylum 3

With one win a piece, the young CS Rose looks to make a mark by gaining another win over one of the best wrestlers in the country. Teacher vs Student as BT Gunn may’ve taught CS Rose everything Rose knows, but he hasn’t taught him everything Gunn knows.

2. Aspen Faith and Sammii Jayne vs Lewis Girvan and Debbie Sharpe – WrestleZone Live in Stonehaven

Aspen Faith and Lewis Girvan have an incredible chemistry in the ring, each trading wins in WrestleZone and Discovery Wrestling. This is a rematch from WrestleZone Christmas Chaos (Comes Early!) adding Sammii and Debbie to the mix who have a great chemistry of their own. This was the standout match in November and it’s hard to think that it won’t be another excellent contest.

1. Chris Renfrew vs Grado – ICW Friday Night Fight Club Taping

A difficult one to pick as it was between this, BT Gunn vs Kay Lee Ray and Joe Coffey vs Jack Jester. This match has the added stipulation being that the winner gets a shot at the ICW World Heavyweight Championship, while the loser can no longer challenge for the conveted title. They have faced each other on numerous occasions and each time they have been tense encounters with the fans split down the middle.
