On Friday 16 September, the stars of the Scottish Wrestling Alliance (SWA) will take over the Clydebank Town Hall for a night of action packed, hard hitting, family entertainment.
Bringing some of the top talent from around the globe, including BBC stars Grado and Jack Jester, alongside former Impact Wrestling World Champion Drew Galloway and Big Damo, there are limited tickets remaining for the biggest pro-wrestling show to be held in Clydebank for nearly a decade.
For two local boys, Aaron Echo and Christopher Saynt, however, the show is a culmination of two very different paths.
Discussing the event, former Clydebank Rugby stand-out, Aaron Echo said: “One of the first wrestling shows my Mum and Dad ever took me to was in the Clydebank Town Hall, and the chance to get to do what I love in the same venue in front of my family and friends is surreal.”
Raised in Whitecrook, the self styled “Patriarch of Pomp and Circumstance and Ring Master of the House of Saynt”Christopher Saynt, has a slightly different approach. “I’m looking to bring show business back to wrestling. Ever since I started training, I have always wanted to perform in the Town Hall.
“I’ll be taking on Jack Jester, who is a main stay in the Scottish scene, and with this match I can prove that I belong on the main stages of UK wrestling by defeating someone who has been at the top for so long.”
The show will also feature SWA Tag Team Champions, Mark Coffey and Jackie Polo, will taking on BT Gunn and Stevie Xavier and much, much more!
