SWE Summary with Justin Crow – Uprising Guerrilla Warfare Preview

Others may call themselves 5Star entertainment, and their Facebook page might refer to them as a computer game but everyone knows wrestling in Dundee is not only no game, but that Dundee is indeed #SWECountry! Hence why, next Saturday, Dundee’s wrestling promotion, Scottish Wrestling Entertainment – SWE is putting on the first of their many local shows of 2017, monthly regular shows and let’s not forget the annual extravaganza that is SWE annual event Hell for Lycra. Others may pop by for a visit, but SWE has always been here, and will always be here, welcome to Dundee. Welcome to #SWECountry.
On Saturday, January 28th, SWE puts on the first Uprising of 2017, and what a hell of a card is lined up!

The man recently crowned the new WOS Heavyweight Champion returns to SWE to take on the hottest young talent of the company. One of the biggest names in Scottish independent wrestling, returns to SWE in the biggest and strongest position he has ever been, to take on a young man who dominated 2016 in SWE and who may just get 2017 off to a more than fortunate start.

Both men were the thorn in each others side during 2016, with the fast track briefcase a dominant player for both during the early months of last year. Now, thanks to SWE Owner Ted Dibiase, both men can finally prove to the other, and the SWE fans, who not only deserves the right to be number one contender to the biggest title in the company but finally a chance to prove who is the better man. First event of the year and we may already have a strong match of the year contender – this one is not to be missed folks!

The last couple of months of 2016 saw a hot young talent jump straight out of the SWE Training School and straight into the hearts of the SWE army, Spike Tierney, who has teamed up with Scotty Riccio to form Supercharged! A fast paced, high flying team who finished the year on a roll. However, come January 28th, they go against the biggest combination SWE has ever seen. For the first time in years, almost a decade, Nathan Reynolds has returned to SWE to team up with long term SWE star Kevin Williams to form Dead Cell, a team with a combined 20+ year experience and who are seeking not only the respect they have earned throughout that experience, but the respect they deserve. Come January 28th, the young high flyers are either gonna prove themselves, for the veterans are gonna dominate the landscape and put a major flag into 2017.

Both taking on mystery opponents, Sara Marie Taylor and Steven  “Air” Myles will be in action!!!

All that, and I’m sure SWE Interim GM Grue will have a surprise or two lined up for you all. So make sure you are at the Ardler Complex, Dundee – January 28th – for Dundee’s own SWE in their first Uprising of 2017!

Others may have drawn the battle lines but SWE and the SWE Army will stand tall and strong!
