On November 5th, Discovery Wrestling crown their inagural Tag Team Champions plus the winner of the Hotter Than Hell Edinburgh Invitational will be decided. An already stacked line up that we know that will have Champions crowned, careers made and wars ended. So let’s take a stab at predicting the rest of the line up.
Hotter Than Hell Edinburgh Invitational Final – Aspen Faith vs Rampage Brown
Uncivil War – Discovery Wrestling Tag Team Championships – Fight Club (Kid Fite & Liam Thomson) vs Deviation & Dave Conrad vs Buffet Club (Uncle Bobby & Gene Munny) vs The New Age Kliq (Chris Renfrew & BT Gunn)
Michael Chase vs Christopher Saynt
Y Division Championship – Joe Coffey (c) vs Matt Riddle
I know what you’re thinking, no Girvan rematch? Personally I’d have that in December (December 7th, and end the year closing the Coffey-Girvan chapter of Discovery). In the meantime you can’t pass up the chance to have Joe face Matt Riddle one on one. As far as I’m aware they’ve never faced each other so to have them battle over the Y Division Championship in Coffey’s first defence would be very cool.
British Strong Style (Tyler Bate, Trent Seven & Pete Dunne) vs Mikey Whiplash & Polo Promotions (Jackie Polo & Mark Coffey)
We know that British Strong Style will be in six man tag action, but we don’t know who they will be facing. I’m proposing a mega-team of Mikey Whiplash and Polo Promotions as a supergroup of British wrestlers to take on another supergroup. Whiplash has already had battles with Matt Riddle and Rampage Brown so continuing to face the best while teaming with Scotland’s beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeest tag team just seems like a natural fit.
Lewis Girvan vs Joe Hendry
I wanted Girvan on the bill but not against Joe Coffey. The next best thing would be him facing the man that helped Coffey gain that title shot that saw him lose his Y Division Championship, Joe Hendry. Could even throw in a number one contender stipulation for good measure.
Sammii Jayne vs Debbie Sharpe
Final match predicted is a fued that, I think, hasn’t really seen a conclusion in Discovery following the end of the BAE Club. Dependant of the announcement regarding the Women’s Championship, this could very well end up becoming a Women’s Championship match or even Sharpe fighting to take Jayne’s place if a rematch is to occur.
So there we have it, while sitting here armchair armdragging, I’ve come up with a pretty sweet looking line up for Discovery Wrestling at The Jam House on November 5th.
