WrestleZone are set to present their last show of 2017, as they return to Aberdeen’s Danestone Community Centre on Saturday December 2nd for Christmas Chaos 2017. With only 2 matches confirmed for the show, what other matches can management sign to end the year with a blast?
Triple Threat Match – Johnny Lions vs Shawn Johnson vs Andy Wild
Sammii Jayne vs Kasey
The return of Scotty Swift
Undisputed WrestleZone Championship
Damien (c) vs Crusher Craib
Current Undisputed Champion and WrestleZone’s resident revolutionary Damien is likely set to defend the gold at Christmas Chaos, assuming he retains against Andy Wild in Arbroath this Saturday. The only other name on the poster not already scheduled for action (or in Swift’s case, not competing) is his former Sterling Oil stablemate Crusher Craib. These two are no stranger to each other, having faced off in a brutal Revolution Rules Match at Aberdeen Anarchy 2015 with The Creator of Carnage walking away with the win and a concussion. With Scotty set to return at this show, imagine him to get involved and possibly cost Crusher the title.
Triple Threat Match for the WrestleZone Tri-Counties Championship
Zach Dynamite (c) vs Aspen Faith vs Bradley Evans
The new Tri-Counties Champion Zach Dynamite will probably also have his title on the line, again assuming he retains in Arbroath against Jason Reed. The only option I see for him is a singles match against either former champion Aspen Faith or his ally Bradley Evans, or a Triple Threat Match against both. Aspen would be looking to regain the title and become the first two-time Tri-Counties Champion, Bradley would be looking to end 2017 by winning his first taste of gold and Zach would be looking to extend his title reign into the new year. Would all make for an excellent match.
WrestleZone Tag Team Championships
Open Challenge by The Sterling Brothers (Alan Sterling & William Sterling) (c)
Assuming they retain the titles in Arbroath against Bryan Tucker and Chris Archer, The Sterling Brothers could potentially be defending their Tag Team Championships at Christmas Chaos. With no other teams around (except the unstoppable Los Cystos), their challengers could either be another makeshift team or they could do what they did at Summerhill Showdown and host an Open Challenge. Only team I could see accepting is The Rejected, providing Mikkey Vago is cleared to compete, or a debuting team.
Mr P & Bryan Tucker vs Nathan North & Lou King Sharp
Finally, we have the annual Christmas Brawl. With the rivalry between Mr P and Nathan North seemingly not over, we’ll toss them into this match with their respective partners Bryan Tucker and Lou King Sharp. The festive match has seen some more brutal affairs over the last few years, with last year’s Shawn Johnson vs Bryan Tucker seeing a table used to end the match. Will P reclaim his Scottish flag or will we all follow The North Star?
