With ICW’s 7th Annual Square Go! event taking place in just a few weeks, there’s been no competitors officially announced, maybe with the exception of Lionheart. Rumble-type matches always allow for some surprise entrants to enter the fray and The Square Go! has been no different. The 2017 match saw stars such as Martin Kirby, Rampage Brown and Johnny Moss enter the 30-man contest. Who could we see as surprises in this year’s bout?

Grado

Grado hasn’t been seen since losing to former ally Sha Samuels in a Loser Leaves Match on night 2 of Shug’s Hoose Party 4 back in July. A return to ICW, the company that put Grado on the map, is surely something that will happen in the future and what better way to have him return than as a surprise entrant in The Square Go! Match. If he returned, he’s sure to be one of the favourites to win the whole thing.

James Storm

“The Cowboy” James Storm has been announced to make his ICW debut at The Square Go! and although he’s been announced for a #1 Contenders Falls Count Anywhere Match against Jack Jester on the event, that doesn’t mean he couldn’t enter The Square Go! Match aswell. Obviously he wouldn’t be entering if he goes on to defeat Jester, but it’s a possibility.

Marty Scurll

“The Villain” Marty Scurll hasn’t been seen in ICW since March 2016. Having been lighting up the wrestling world with his killer matches for promotions such as Ring of Honor, New Japan Pro Wrestling and Defiant Wrestling, the Bullet Club member could very well be an entrant in The Square Go! Match. With NJPW not beginning their Australian tour until the week after, could this year’s Square Go! Match be Too One Sweet?

Pete Dunne

The current WWE United Kingdom Champion Pete Dunne debuted for ICW this past March and even defended that very title in an ICW ring. It’s very possible that The Bruiserweight could appear in this year’s Square Go! Match, considering he’s not been announced for any other events that day from what I’ve seen at least. Dunne has been victorious in past Rumble-style matches, winning Kamikaze Pro’s Over the Top Match in 2015. Is it possible that he could add The Square Go! to his ever-growing list of accomplishments?

Davey Blaze

“The Buckfast Barbarian” Davey Blaze hasn’t been seen in ICW for a number of months now, with his manager The Wee Man seemingly moving on to other clients. Blaze always manages to put in a great performance whenever he enters The Square Go! Match, so it would certainly be a fantastic way to make his return to ICW!

Who would you like to see enter this year’s Square Go! Match?
