WrestleZone Tri-Counties Championship
Andy Wild (c) vs Mr P

The Tri-Counties Championship will be up for grabs in the evening’s main event as Andy Wild makes the first defence of his newly-won title against Stonehaven’s very own Mr P. After winning the title from Aspen Faith in a fantastic Fatal Four Way Match back at The Regal Rumble, the Englishman also moved one step closer to becoming WrestleZone’s first ever Triple-Crown Champion, having held the Undisputed Championship previously in his career. Himself and Mr P have plenty of history that dates back to last year’s Regal Rumble, where Wild attacked P backstage, furious at having failed to regain the Undisputed Title. The two faced off a few times, including in a six man tag at last year’s Aberdeen Anarchy. Who’ll ever forget the moment where Wild was forced to take a Stink Face from WWE Hall of Famer Rikishi? With gold once again around his waist, Wild is on top of the Tri-Counties division. Mr P, being a former Tag Team Champion, will hope to impress his hometown fans and win his first taste of singles gold.

Bryan Tucker & Chris Archer vs Sterling Oil (Crusher Craib & Shawn Johnson)

Tag team action will take place at the Stonehaven Town Hall, as Bryan Tucker and Chris Archer are set to go against Sterling Oil’s Crusher Craib and reigning Undisputed Champion Shawn Johnson. The history between Tucker and Johnson goes back several years, from their time in The Granite City Hotshots to Shawn turning his back on Bryan. A recent match between the pair took place two weeks ago in Fraserburgh, with Johnson retaining his Undisputed Championship. Archer also has a bit of history with the members of Sterling Oil, including failing to capture the Undisputed Championship on two separate occasions late last year. Of course, Shawn Johnson may never have become the champion during his first reign if it wasn’t for the returning Crusher Craib. The Creator of Carnage has been on a warpath recently, destroying Scotty Swift, Blue Thunder and Johnny Lions in recent months. Plenty of stories coming in to this one!

Zach Dynamite vs Damien

Former rivals collide this Saturday as Zach Dynamite takes on Damien. The last time these two faced off one on one was in January 2014, where Dynamite was victorious in a 20 minute Iron Man Match. Since this last bout, both men have turned in to very different people. Dynamite returned from a 2-year injury hiatus in the summer of 2016 and has since been a Tri-Counties Champion (his first ever taste of gold), but has recently turned his back on the fans after losing the title. On the other hand, Damien has went from one of the most hated men on the WrestleZone roster to being one of the most gifted athletes from the area. With The Revolutionary being announced as an entrant in this year’s Drew Galloway Invitational Tournament, it would be a huge loss for Damien if he were to lose to Fully Loaded.

Aspen Faith vs Bradley Evans

Aspen Faith and Bradley Evans will once again do battle this Saturday night. These two have faced off a few times before, with The King of Catch coming out victorious each and every time. After becoming the first Tri-Counties Champion last June, Aspen’s first challenger was Bradley Evans. Evans was unsuccessful, but received a second title opportunity at the end of October, but left with the loss and a concussion. Aspen would go on to become a two-time champ at the first show of the year but after losing it at The Regal Rumble, he decided to return to the WrestleZone tag division alongside his Kings of Catch partner Lewis Girvan. Meanwhile, Bradley Evans appears to still have some unfinished business with former training partner Zach Dynamite. Don’t be surprised to see Fully Loaded get involved in this one.

Johnny Lions & Scotty Swift vs Jason Reed & William Sterling

Another tag team match has been signed for Saturday’s show as former enemies Scotty Swift and Johnny Lions team up to face Jason Reed and William Sterling. Swift has had ongoing issues with Sterling Oil for years now, but his recent matches with Crusher Craib have been nothing short of fantastic. He lost to The Creator of Carnage in a No DQ Match at The Regal Rumble thanks in part to The Sterling Brothers, with William and Alan then also dumping him out of The Regal Rumble Match later in the night. A recent loss to Alan in Fraserburgh only came after William interfered, so this will be the perfect opportunity for The Red Haired Warrior to gain some retribution over the lapdog of Sterling Oil. Filling in on either side are Fife’s “Tenacious” Johnny Lions and the cheeky Jason Reed. Lions recently failed to capture the Tri-Counties Championship a few weeks ago, while Reed has laid out a declaration to Make WrestleZone Great Again. Let’s see how that goes…

Mikkey Vago vs Nathan North

The other half of The Rejected will be in singles action as Mikkey Vago is set to compete against “Vintage” Nathan North. The Heavy Metal Hooligan, alongside partner Chris Archer, has been on top of the WrestleZone tag division since the start of last year, with the pair trading the Tag Team Championships with The Sterling Brothers. After regaining them in December, Vago and Archer were dethroned by Proper Mental last month and were then assaulted by The Kings of Catch. With this being his first match since that night, I’m sure he’ll have plenty of anger to release. But Nathan North might have something to say about that, as he prepares to make Stonehaven vintage. The Vintage One hasn’t been on the best roll as of late, losing to the likes of Mr P and Damien in a matter of weeks. With Battle of the Nations right around the corner, North will hope to get back to winning ways.

Tickets are available from http://www.ringsideworld.co.uk, priced at £12 for adults, £10 for under 14s and £35 for a family of 4 (only available online). Fans can also pay at the door on the night. Doors open at 7pm, with the first bell at 7:30.
