Who Will Be Chavo Guerrero’s Opponent At WrestleZone Aberdeen Anarchy X?

On Saturday, June 9th, WrestleZone Management Representative Chris MacDonald announced that the second guest for Aberdeen Anarchy would be the former WWE and WCW Cruiserweight Champion, former WWE Tag Team Champion with his Legendary Uncle, Eddie Guerrero, former TNA Tag Team Champion with Hernandez, former ECW Champion, even heading into WrestleMania as ECW Champion… I mean, he did lose it to Kane in record time but that just means he’s made history, spin the positive out of it. He’s appeared in the fantastic GLOW on Netflix, competed in Lucha Underground and has traveled around the world.

Chavo Guerrero is no stranger to Scotland having made a couple trips here in the past, but not as far North as Aberdeen.

So who is he going to face? In my Battle of the Nations review (here), I suggested Bingo Ballance. The lightning fast Irishman against a former Cruiserweight Champion, something could go together and go together good.

How about Jason Reed? He wants to make WrestleZone great again, channeling a certain golf course owner maybe he doesn’t want someone of Chavo’s… legacy to come over here and take a job that a good, honest American, Scotsman could do. For me, that would be so entertaining and, as much as I want to see Bingo back again, on further thought the story that could be crafted with this match could be outstanding. Chavo Guerrero, with the lying, cheating and stealing and Jason Reed with the FAKE NEWS. Any comparisons with Kerwin White that could be shoehorned in, just for my enjoyment, would be appreciated cause I loved that bit of silliness.

So that’s two top options, but who else could we see interact with the Mexican Warrior?

With a lot of the core roster looking to have builds beginning for the supershow on September 1st we could maybe see some returning wrestlers like a Stevie Xavier or a Kenny Williams, who have made appearances at Aberdeen Anarchy in the past. This would be two great matches but for WrestleZone’s biggest show of the year I’d like to see someone who has been contributing to WrestleZone for the previous 12 months, earning a match with Guerrero. Maybe a Bradley Evans, it would be a good test for the young powerhouse, or even Kaden Garrick to make his way back to The Beach Ballroom.

It’s going to be an exciting 3 months as we continue the road to Aberdeen Anarchy, who would you like to see face Chavo Guerrero?

Tickets are still available.
