Tomorrow evening will mark the eight year anniversary of Pro Wrestling Elite, a company that was originally founded by the late, great Lionheart. Following his tragic passing, the wider Scottish wrestling community has come together to ensure the show still goes ahead, just like Hearto would’ve wanted. The night’s proceedings will emanate from the Citadel in Ayr, a venue steeped in PWE history. Some huge names have walked through the curtain in this building, including 2019 WWE Hall of Fame inductees Billy Gunn and X-Pac, the longest reigning WWE United Kingdom Champion in history Pete Dunne, and current WWE United States Champion AJ Styles. This year will see a card like no other, with four huge championship matches, debuts, returns, and more. What’s not to love? As you can tell by the name of this article though, we’re going to take this opportunity to look back at all of those numbers from the previous events held here!

Events hosted at the venue include One Year Anniversary Show, Two Year Anniversary – Knockout Bro, Road to Revolution, Jingle All The Galloway, Elite Rumble III, Five Year Anniversary – Night 1: Break It Down!, Five Year Anniversary – Night 2: Dar Wars – The Final Episode, Higher Power, Elite Rumble IV, 6th Anniversary – Night 2, Elite Christmas 2017, Elite Rumble V, 7th Anniversary – The Greatest Show!, Elite Christmas 2018, Elite Rumble VI, and 8th Anniversary Show.
