This past weekend, the German promotion westside Xtreme wrestling (wXw) revealed some additional names for their upcoming Femmes Fatales tournament on October 5th in Oberhausen, which will be held as part of the 2019 World Tag Team Festival. Among those names announced was Scotland’s very own Sammii Jayne, who’ll be making her wXw debut.
For a good few years now, Sammii Jayne has been plying her trade all over the United Kingdom and further afield too, including bouts in Spain and Japan. She’s quite the decorated competitor also – at one stage in 2018, she held the Discovery Wrestling Women’s Championship, the Main Event Wrestling Women’s Championship, the Over The Top Wrestling Women’s Championship, the Three Count Wrestling Women’s Championship, the Pro Wrestling: EVE Championship, and the Revolution Championship Wrestling Women’s Championship all at the same time. Who else can say they’ve accomplished that amazing feat?
Although her career may have been put on hold twice in the last year and a bit due to injuries, The Main Event Empress is back to add more titles to her trophy cabinet. Who knows, maybe she’ll have her eyes set on that wXw Women’s Championship after Femmes Fatales is over and done with.
At the time of writing, here is the full list of talents announced for that tournament;
- Sammii Jayne
- Faye Jackson
- Session Moth Martina
- Lana Austin
- Saraya Knight
